Susie has 28 years of experience working in the areas of human resources and employee benefits brokerage/consulting. Her primary areas of expertise include brokering and negotiating client renewals and facilitating long-range strategic planning with clients’ decision-making teams.
Before joining AscendUSA, Susie was the regional manager for CBIZ Benefits of Indiana. She and her staff were responsible for providing brokerage, administrative, and retention services to all of CBIZ’s clients, which ranged in size from 2 to 1,200 employees. Prior to that, Susie worked for Inland Container Corporation (ICC) where she held various risk management and human resources roles. During her time at ICC, Susie gained invaluable employee benefits experience working through a broad range of challenges, which included negotiating contracts with labor union bargaining units.
